I wanted to take a minute and thank you for being a loyal subscriber to my newsletter and podcasts. It means the world to me that you take time out of your busy day to read what I send out and listen to the guests that come on the show.
There have been some changes that have come up for me within the last month and I have changed the name of my business and podcast from Motivation Addict to Julie Saillant. I have been getting lots of nudges that I needed to update my outside, to match the changes I have undergone on the inside.
I started Motivation Addict as a way to help others and motivate them towards what they wanted to accomplish in their lives, which has been wonderful. However, a lot of my work deals with energy healings, intuitive channelings and animal communication, not just motivation.
What I really do is help you connect to your heart by blending your personal sacred animal wisdom, with my intuitive channeling gifts, to give you energy healings. These energy healings bring you into perfect mind-body-spirit alignment and empower you to live your soul purpose and stand in your power.
All of this brought up a good lesson I wanted to share with you.
HOW TO PIVOT TOWARDS SUCCESS BY LETTING GO
We have been trained to expect failure when we let something go – especially if we have given a lot of personal energy to any part of our life that is now not working. If you have started a project that is not giving you the joy and rewards that it should, maybe it’s time to let it go.
If you have put a lot of time, money, effort and creative energy into a business, collaboration, writing a book, or a new extension of your business that is not reaping anything positive – it may be time to think about letting it go.
This can be challenging at first, because I was trained to believe that when I let something go that I had created and nurtured – even if it wasn’t working – it was a FAILURE. I was GIVING UP. I was LOSING OUT. I was LOSING all that I had put into it. Along with that feeling comes SHAME, LOSS, FAILURE, QUITTER - you get the point.
Yet, we all need to take a hard look at what we are doing in our lives (be it personally or professionally), and see if there is a clear positive ROI for us.
Is what you are doing making you happy or draining your bank account and leaving you feeling like there is a huge weight on your shoulders? Is the podcast you started that was fun, now costly and taking up tons of time which could be better spent on collaborations with others to help more animals and people?
There is no shame in pivoting and trying something new. In fact, the most successful entrepreneurs tell us, that pivoting and trying with better information is what has made them successful! When the time is right, the faster they pivot, the more successful they are.
You launch something new for many reasons – maybe the message is right, but you are not getting traction with your target market. Maybe your target market is great, but they are not the right people for you to work with spiritually.
