YOU ARE ONLY AS POWERFUL AS YOUR BELIEFS

I was having a session with a Healer from Italy who was working on my blocked energy.

She was effortlessly removing negative beliefs & thoughts and bringing in positive light from Spirit.

Me: “How do you do that? How can you do this work when I am not in front of you?”

Her: “You are in front of me and energy is everything. It doesn’t matter how far apart we are physically energy is everywhere and easily accessible once you know how it works.”

Me: “Can I do this to?”

Her: “Of course you can! You are a Healer as well.”

Flash forward to 3 months later and I was working with clients all over the globe, healing them from the comfort of my own home.

This scenario comes down to two important beliefs:

--> Believing you have the ability & power to accomplish your goals, and

--> The belief that your power knows the way

WHAT IS PERSONAL POWER?

The definition of Personal Power is the ability to influence people and events with or without formal authority. Personal Power is more of a person’s attitude or state of mind rather than an attempt to maneuver or control others. Its primary aim is self-mastery: competence, vision, positive personal (human) qualities, and service.

Your personal power is directly connected to your gifts and your personal mission here on Earth.

You were given specific powers that are perfect for you to wield giving you the capability to master them so you can make the world a better place.

Yet so many people don’t know what their gifts are and they have no idea how to work with their gifts.

The gap between where you are now, not using your power, to the place where you master your gifts is where most people struggle.

You may know you are not where you are supposed to be and you need help getting to your next level. You also may not know what your true gifts are which can be incredibly frustrating.

WHAT YOU BELIEVE IS PARAMOUNT TO YOUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Imagine moving through your whole life disconnected from your power.

Imagine not working with your gifts, but running from them.

Think about how little fulfillment you would experience if you were constantly unconnected from all you could truly be.

This is the way most people go through life.

Sadly, there are many people who are in jobs they hate, relationships that don’t work and they can’t understand why they are not happy.

The belief in oneself is crucial for you to step into your power and do what your Soul came here to do. – Julie

In my case, I didn’t BELIEVE that I had the ability to heal others if they were physically far from me.

Even if I had the ability, I didn’t BELIEVE I could execute these gifts in the proper way to help myself and others.

This two-fold belief system kept me stuck in a place of feeling ashamed, less than and powerless.

It resulted in me accepting corporate positions that looked great on paper, yet made me miserable. I would then self-sabotage as I knew this was not a good fit for my personality and gifts.

Beliefs are assumptions we make about ourselves, about others and about how we expect things to be in our world. Belief’s form the foundations of your expectations and perceptions of reality.

For example, if you don’t think you can run 3 miles, you won’t accomplish that task.

You might not even try as you will believe that you are incapable of running that far, DESPITE overwhelming evidence that says “Yes! You CAN run that far.”

HOW CAN YOU IDENTIFY YOUR LIMITING BELIEFS?

Beliefs will determine what goals you set and how you go about accomplishing those goals.

Your beliefs influence 95% of the decisions you make and the actions you take. The labels you give yourself, the limitations you place upon yourself and the expectations you have are all built upon your beliefs.

When trying to accomplish a goal, if the belief’s around the goal don’t serve you and hinder your progress, this is an indication that you are dealing with a limiting belief.

Some questions that will help you understand more about your limiting beliefs are:

--> What resistance am I feeling when I think about achieving this goal?

--> What is holding me back from accomplishing this task?

--> What am I doing or saying to myself that is stopping me for being successful?

--> Why do I think this is too hard for me? What is stopping me?

THE KEY TO YOUR SUCCESS

The key to your success will be to replace your limiting beliefs with a new empowering belief.

The best way to make this work is to be open to new perspectives and alternative viewpoints.

Below are 4 steps to go through to change your beliefs. Remember, your beliefs will either support you or hinder you from achieving your goals. Your job is to understand where you are on that spectrum and course correct where necessary.

STEP #1 – CHOOSE YOUR DESIRED OUTCOME

When choosing your desired outcome, start by asking yourself the following questions:

--> What goal would I like to achieve?

--> What beliefs are preventing me from achieving this goal?

STEP #2 - WHY YOU NEED TO QUESTION YOUR LIMITING BELIEFS

These questions are designed to send lots of doubt to your current limiting beliefs. The more doubt you can create, the better.

Here are some questions you can ask to begin that process:

--> Is this belief true?

--> Why do I believe this?

--> What’s the exact opposite way of thinking about this belief?

--> Is this belief helping me get what I want out of life?

These questions will make you feel uncomfortable because they are challenging your expectations and current belief system. Yet, it is vital for you to go through this process. It is the only way to remove a limiting belief and replace it with an empowering belief that will support your goals and life.

STEP 3 - CONSIDER THE NEGATIVE CONSEQUENCES OF YOUR LIMITING BELIEFS

The more pain you associate with a limiting belief, the more motivation you will have to make a positive change.

Here are some questions to consider:

--> How will not changing this belief affect my life?

--> What are the potential long-term consequences of not making this change?

--> Why is it important to make this change now?

STEP 4 - CHOOSING A NEW EMPOWERING BELIEF

Now we get to put in a new empowering belief that will help move you forward. The most important consideration is to make sure that this new belief is believable.

Here are some key questions to ask yourself:

If I was this successful person:

--> What would this person believe about themselves?

--> What would this person believe about this goal?

--> How will this new belief help me attain this goal?

--> What habits could help me strengthen this belief?

--> Are there any role models I could turn to that would help me move towards my goal?

The more reasons you can find to make a change, the more motivation you will have to switch out your old patterns and replace them with empowering beliefs.

When you are not focused on what can’t be done, but rather on the possibilities that are in front of you, that’s when you will begin to take action with your new empowering beliefs.

Your personal beliefs are directly tied to what you think you can accomplish. The very first part of change is opening yourself up to the new possibilities that exist. You must be willing to see yourself in a new light and tell yourself a new story.

This story should change from “I can’t do it…” to “I can do it and this is why!”

Switching just one belief from negative to positive will make all the difference in you reaching your goals.

I am sending you all lots of love and successful vibes.
